Parker et al. (2012)

Standard metabolic rate of Sydney Rock Oyster (Saccostrea glomerata) larvae after 19 days. Larvae were spawned from wild oyster adults that were preconditioned to ambient or enriched CO2 seawater for 5 weeks prior to spawning. Temperature was 24°C and pH was altered by the addition of CO2.

Standard metabolic rate of Sydney Rock Oyster (Saccostrea glomerata) larvae after 19 days. Larvae were spawned from selected breeding oyster adults that were preconditioned to ambient or enriched CO2 seawater for 5 weeks prior to spawning. Temperature was 24°C and pH was altered by the addition of CO2.
